Terrace and landed homes (Damansara Heights, Desa ParkCity) usually need multiple units across different rooms, and roof heat can push upstairs bedrooms into a higher HP bracket than the room size alone would suggest.
The Most Common Sizing Mistake
Homeowners often assume “bigger is better” and go up a size to cool the room faster. In practice, an oversized unit cools the air quickly but shuts off before it properly removes humidity — leaving the room feeling cold but clammy, and cycling the compressor on and off more than necessary, which adds wear over time.
